Aim: The success of educational organizations depends on their students' satisfaction, which leads to the university's progress and prosperity. Due to the vital position of a university of medical sciences and its serious responsibility in educating the forces directly related to the community's health, these centers must redouble their efforts to satisfy their students. For this purpose, this study was conducted to identify factors affecting students' satisfaction with Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences.
Methods: This applied research was conducted with qualitative methodology and qualitative content analysis. The samples were purposefully selected from the Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences students. In this study, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 13 students. Data were analyzed using MAXQDA software.
Results: Seven central themes, including "educational factors", "research factors", "managerial factors", "administrative factors ","welfare factors", and "support services" along with its sub-categories that express students' shared experience and understanding of factors which influence their satisfaction were extracted.
 Conclusion: Considering the importance of educational, research, managerial, administrative, welfare, and support services factors from the students' point of view, it is appropriate for policymakers and trustees to take into account the needs and expectations of students to develop programs that meet neglected needs of the students in these fields.
