This study aimed to measure the quality of services rendered by libraries affiliated to Hamedan University of Medical Sciences to provide the knowledge of gap between the users' expectations and the level of provided services.
Methods: The survey was conducted using the standard Libqual questionnaire. The analysis was performed through non-parametric mann-whitney and kruskal–wallis test using the statistical software of SPSS16. The statistical society in this survey included students, teachers and employees (n=7000). The statistical sample based on Morgan table showed to be 400 people.
Results: In the dimension of information control, the greatest gap of adequacy affect was observed in the libraries of pharmacy (-0.933), and nursing colleges, (-0.132) central library (-0.43) and the hospital library (-0.362). The greatest gap of the priority affect was found in the library of pharmacy college (-2.18). It was found that the libraries lacked the suitable spaces for their clients' study and the greatest gap of priority affect was observed in the central library (-0.102), dental college library (-1.22), and the library of pharmacy college (-1.42). The maximum depth of priority gap has been in the libraries of pharmacy (-2.35), dental (-3.49) and nursing colleges (-2.31).
Conclusion: In the “service affect” dimension the hospital and central libraries have the greatest adequacy gap and in the priority gap, dental (-3.20), and nursing (-2.21) colleges libraries and the central library (-2.37) showed the greatest depth of gap.

The present study aims to scientifically evaluate intellectual property rights in the Web of Science information database from its beginning until now.
Methods: This study was conducted by the scientometric method and analysis of documents published in the field of intellectual property in 2019. For this purpose, using related keywords, through advanced search in the Web of Science information database, 425,876 documents were extracted. Scientometric analysis and illustration were performed using Excel and VOS viewer software.
Results: The results showed that the publication of articles and documents related to intellectual property rights has an upward trend. This publication has increased from 4 documents in 1899 to 425876 documents in 2019. The largest number of documents were published in English and the United States was the largest producer of these documents. The most prolific author named ANONYMOUS with 4370 writings in this field, BMJ OPEN magazine with 4478 titles, is the core and prominent journal in intellectual property.
Conclusion: This study provides an overview of intellectual property rights in the Web of Science, which can be a guidanc and a roadmap for the audiences.

Abstract

Aim: Knowledge, as one of the assets, plays a pivotal role in gaining the competitive advantage of the organization and institutions and is considered the ultimate alternative to production, wealth, and monetary capital.  This study aimed to compare the application of knowledge management among librarians of University of Medical Sciences of Hamadan, Iran, and University of Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences based on Williams and Bukowitz's models.
Methods: In this descriptive-analytical study the statistical population includes all librarians (81 individuals) working in libraries of Medical Sciences Universities of Hamadan and Iran, and Universit of welfare and rehabilitation sciences. The method of data collection is Bukowitz and William's seven-component questionnaire. SPSS statistical software 17 and analysis of variance, Tukey and Kruskal tests were used to analyze the data.
Results: The mean of the studied components at Hamadan University of Medical sciences is about 41units higher than the mean score in the University of Welfare Sciences and at Iran university of medical sciences the maen score is 28 units higher than the Welfare University. Also, the mean for female employees is about 20 units less than male employees (with constant consideration of other variables effect). The other variables did not have a statistically significant effect on this mean.
Conclusion: By summing the scores of all components, this score was statistically significant in the three studied universities and the mean score of Hamedan University library staff was more than the other two universities and the mean score of the staff of Welfare Sciences University was less than the others. It seems that knowledge management has better conditions at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences.

Abstract

Aim: COVID -19 is an epidemic that affects the entire world. This study was conducted at the beginning of 2021 with the aim of scientometrically drawing a map of COVID 19 in the Web of Science Information Database.
Methods: The present applied research is of quantitative type and has been done by Scientometric method. This study was conducted in April 2021 using the Web of Science database. The sample population is all existing and related documents in the field of COVID in the database, which uses 101466 related keyword extraction and Scientometric analysis and illustration analysis using Excel and VOSviewer Software.
Results: According to the information obtained, the publication of articles related to this issue has an upward trend. Most documents are in English and the United States is the largest producer of documents in this field. The most active authors are anonymous with 754 degrees and BMJ British Medical Journal magazine with 1363 titles, is the core and main magazine in COVID 19. This topic has 442 hot paper articles and 1966 highly cited article titles.

Abstract

Objective MS is an inflammatory disease in which the myelin sheaths of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord are damaged. Analysis of scientific publications of MS can show the scientific performance of the world in this important field. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate the prevalence of this disease in the world in order to extract the pattern of scientific outputs
Methods In this study, bibliometric and illustration methods from Web of Science database were used. We first selected the MS-related keywords from the mesh (medical subject headings). Then, by searching the database, global scientific publications related to MS were extracted in CSV format and data were analyzed and illustrated using citation analysis techniques with the help of Excel and VOSviewer software.
Results A total of 1902670 documents were indexed by world researchers about MS in this database. The average citation per document was 2.60 and the average h-index of retrieved publications was 15. Most of the published articles were original and in English, and most of the articles by researchers were published in MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS JOURNAL. Lipro University was the most prolific institution in Europe and Kim MS was the most prolific author with 14503 degrees. Most collaborations were with researchers in the United States. The subject of neuroscience had the largest number of published documents
Conclusion Finding showed that worldwide various research institutes with the main participation in the dissemination of information sources have conducted acceptable research in the field of MS.

The analysis of scientific publications in psychology can show the scientific performance of scholars in this field. Therefore, this study aims to analyze and evaluate the scientific publications in psychology in the world and Iran.
Methods This scientometrics study with bibliometric and visualization methods was conducted in the Scopus database on papers in psychology published until the end of 2022, searched using keywords based on the MesH terms. Then, the relevant papers were extracted in a CSV file, and were analyzed using citation analysis techniques in Excel and VOSviewer software.
Results A total of 26,194 documents in psychology were found to be indexed by the Scopus database. The average citation per paper was 2.40, and the average h-index of the retrieved papers was 12. Most of the papers were original articles in English, and most of the articles were published by international scholars in the American Psychologist magazine (n=204). National Institute of Mental Health was the most productive organization (n=1186), and Deleon PH and Kaslow NJ were the most prolific authors with 29 papers. The most co-authorships were with the scholars from the United States. Psychology was the subject with the largest number of published papers.
Conclusion At the international level, the number of published papers in psychology indexed in Scopus databases has an increasing trend. The results of this study can be useful for scholars and experts in the field of psychology.
