Objectives and Backgrounds
The Journal of Modern Medical Informatics is a scientific journal published quarterly by Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences. This journal is a forum for exchanging the latest scientific findings on health information systems, evaluation of health information systems, security, confidentiality and privacy of information in the field of health, health informatics standards, evaluation of health information technology, artificial intelligence in the field of health, medical imaging systems, radiology information systems and PACS, bioinformatics: genomics and proteomics, metabolomics and transcriptomics, sequence analysis, telemedicine, mobile health, data mining and knowledge discovery in health sciences, information retrieval systems and natural language processing systems, electronic health records, the Internet and medical sciences in the form of original articles, review articles, short articles, case reports and letters to the editor. The journal is published in Persian, and its abstracts are published in Persian and English. The full text of the articles is available to the public free of charge on the journal's website (http://Jmis.hums.ac.ir). The journal welcomes valuable articles from professors, researchers, and scholars via online submission.
