Background: Organizations have their own rules and regulations depending on their activities. Employees' awareness of the rules and regulations and their attitude towards the rules leads to empowerment, development, improvement of performance and ultimately the organization's dynamics. Awareness of the rules and regulations is a guide to social actions in organizations. Employees' lack of awareness of the rules and regulations leads to weak empowerment and organizational management and a serious obstacle to the implementation of the rules.
Methods and tools: The study population of this cross-sectional-descriptive study included employees of the Educational, Therapeutic and Research Complex of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Bandar Abbas, who were selected using the available sampling method. Employees were divided into two administrative and therapeutic groups according to employment group, work level, and field of work. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. After the validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by managers and relevant experts, its reliability was verified using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, which is one of the most widely used methods for calculating the reliability of the questionnaire. The questionnaire was 0.78, which is an acceptable number.
Results: In this study, there were 156 women (40.6%) and 228 men (49.4%) with an average age of 38.88 years. Most of the respondents (29.2%) had 16 to 20 years of work experience. Also, most of the respondents (37%) had a contractual employment status. In terms of education level and field of study, most of the respondents (56%) had a bachelor's degree.
