fa کتابداران علوم سلامت: از ارائه‌دهندگان اطلاعات تا شرکای پژوهشی: مروری بر نقش‌های در حال تحول در حمایت از پژوهش‌های پزشکی Health sciences librarians: from information providers to research partners: a review of the evolving roles in supporting medical research تخصصي Special مروری Review <div style="text-align: justify;">هدف: این مرور سیستماتیک با هدف بررسی تحول نقش کتابداران علوم سلامت از ارائه‌دهندگان اطلاعات به شرکای پژوهشی و شناسایی روندهای نوظهور در حمایت از تحقیقات پزشکی انجام شد. منابع اطلاعاتی: جستجوی نظام‌مند در پایگاه‌های PubMed، Scopus، Web of Science و Google Scholar (۲۰۱۵ تا ۲۰۲۵) و با بررسی دستی منابع کلیدی تکمیل گردید. روش‌های انتخاب: از ۳۳۲ رکورد اولیه، پس از غربالگری سه‌مرحله‌ای و بازبینی مستقلِ دوتایی برای حداقل‌سازی سوگیری، ۳۴ مطالعه واجد شرایط وارد فرآیند تحلیل مضمون ساختاریافته شدند. ترکیب مطالب و نتایج: سه تم اصلی شناسایی شد: مشارکت تخصصی در مرورهای نظام‌مند، مدیریت داده‌های پژوهشی، و کتابداری تعبیه‌شده. تحلیل نشان داد علیرغم گسترش عملی این نقش‌ها به سمت همکاری فعال در چرخه پژوهش، شکاف معناداری بین عملکرد واقعی و سیاست‌های مؤسساتی وجود دارد؛ به‌گونه‌ای که نقش‌های نوظهور در شرح وظایف شغلی و ساختارهای رسمی سازمان‌ها هنوز رسمی‌سازی نشده‌اند. نتیجه‌گیری: تحول حرفه‌ای کتابداران علوم سلامت عمدتاً ناشی از ابتکارات فردی است، نه برنامه‌ریزی سازمانی. تضمین پایداری این نقش‌ها مستلزم رسمی‌سازی آن‌ها در چارچوب‌های سیاستی، هم‌راستا کردن شرح وظایف با واقعیت‌های پژوهشی و ارتقای برنامه‌های درسی است.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Objective: This narrative review aimed to examine the evolving role of health sciences librarians in supporting medical research and to identify emerging patterns of their participation in the research process. Information Sources: A structured and targeted search was conducted in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar for studies published between 2015 and 2025. Reference lists of key studies and backward citation searching were also examined to identify relevant literature addressing foundational concepts and emerging trends. Selection Methods: Sources were selected based on their topical relevance, scholarly value, and alignment with the objectives and conceptual themes of the review. Sources addressing traditional library services without a clear connection to research support, as well as non-scholarly materials, were excluded from the main synthesis. Overall, 332 records were identified, and 34 sources were selected for the final narrative synthesis. Synthesis and Results: The narrative synthesis highlighted three major themes: specialized contributions to systematic reviews and evidence synthesis, research data management, and embedded librarianship. The evidence indicates that librarians’ contributions have expanded beyond traditional information services to encompass activities across different stages of the research lifecycle. However, the extent to which these roles are formally recognized and patterns of collaboration vary across settings. Conclusion: The available evidence supports an expanding research role for health sciences librarians, although the extent and outcomes of this evolution remain uncertain across different contexts.
